Blind Spot Technology for future car

Crowded and congested road conditions need high levels of vigilance. However, we often become complacent and we are unwittingly caught up in danger. One of them in while driving.

In calm conditions you definitely are often surprised because suddenly there is another vehicle already in the side car. There are no signs of vehicles entering the area, car rearview mirror.

However, suddenly you would be surprised when he saw the vehicle entering the area, blind spot. Of course the car body at risk of damage or injury to other road users such as pemotor.

Well, now there called Blind Spot Detection (BSD). The technology to detect other vehicles entering the area, blind spot.

One of the famous car manufacturer Volvo that already require such features. At the Volvo car fitut was called Blind Spot Information System (BLIS makes it easy), which became optional on the Volvo S80, 2007. Safety features were also pinned on alert XC90 2007.

In the ABI study, the BSD system is very helpful when the motorist turn or change lanes. Step embedding BSD systems is claimed to reduce the number of accidents because motorists could find no other vehicle on the side (in the blind spot).

Generally, these features can monitor about 50 meters back and 4-16 meters to the side. Unfortunately as reported autoevolution, Tuesday (03/22/2011) ABI says the new BSD technology can be embedded in all new cars coming in 2016.

Analysis David Alexander said the BSD needs to struggle to be used as an important tool in every car. And now, the feature becomes very important in the midst of a car accident.

"Detection of the blind spot may fend for themselves and not be an important feature. Maybe that was a feature that is less competent. But it is now becoming more popular because riders can anticipate other vehicle
